Today, we would like to wish a happy heavenly 14th birthday to Myles’ big sister, Maggie. Not a single day goes by where we don’t think of you and miss your wagging tail.
Maggie played a tremendous part in the inspiration of author Ashlee Butler’s first book Focus, Myles, Focus! In fact, it was through her loving patience and guidance that Myles’ character was able to learn what makes life meaningful.
Losing Maggie left a space in our hearts that can never be filled, but today we’re choosing to celebrate the beautiful years we shared together.
While our hearts still ache, we take comfort knowing you are running free and happy on the other side of the Rainbow Bridge.
Thank you Maggie, for bringing so much joy into our lives and for being such an exceptional role model to Myles. Run fast, eat all the treats, and celebrate big today. You are forever loved!
