A “Paws-atively” Perfect Update: Big Brother Duties, New Friends, and a Sneak Peek at Book 3!

Hey everyone, Myles here!

So much has happened since our last post and we just couldn’t wait to share it with you!

My human (and favorite author Ashlee Butler) and I have been incredibly busy behind the scenes making the magic happen. But my hound nose isn’t always to the grindstone.

In between projects, we’ve been soaking up every single moment of quality time with our family and my new little brother!

Just a quick recap… over the summer my family welcomed its newest addition, a little puppy named Gus! We’ve been having the absolute best time watching him grow. And boy has he!!!

Being a big brother is a huge responsibility, and I take the job very seriously. Over the past few months, I’ve taken it upon myself to teach Gus all the ins and outs of what it means to be a good puppy. And I must say he’s doing a fine job!

From perfecting the “feed me” puppy-dog eyes and playing fetch, to tracking down squirrels in the backyard, Gus is mastering each task with ease.

And speaking of squirrels, that brings me to some more exciting news. My human and I are finally ready to give you a sneak peek into my next big adventure!

Our upcoming third book, Myles & Simon: A Tail of Friendship, is officially scheduled to be released in the spring/summer of 2027!

Miles and Simon

In this new story, readers will learn all about the true meaning of friendship and kindness. I don’t want to spoil too much, but my character gets help learning these important lessons from a brand-new pal. Everyone, meet Simon!

Simon is a baby squirrel, and we’re both so incredibly excited for you to discover the role he plays in my newest adventure.

To celebrate, my human’s letting me share a few of our never-before-seen illustrations from our upcoming book. We hope you enjoy the sneak peek!

We can’t wait to share this new journey with all of you! Until next time, I’ve got to get back to my big brotherly duties – Gus is currently eyeing my favorite chew toy!

Wags and wiggles,

Myles 🐾
