Our pack at Myles of Adventures is officially growing! If you thought Myles’ escapades were exciting before, get ready, because he just got the ultimate sidekick! Introducing the newest member of our family: Gus!
From the moment little Gus arrived, it was love at first sniff!
Myles immediately took his new little brother under his paw, showing him the ultimate ropes of the backyard. His absolute favorite big-brother duty so far? Leading a grand tour of the best squirrel-watching trees and sharing all his top-secret sniffing spots.
But it’s not all fun and games; Myles has also become Gus’s official bodyguard. The second he hears a tiny whimper, Myles rushes straight to Gus’s side to protect his little bro. Seeing how gentle, patient, and loving Myles is with Gus makes us so incredibly proud of our big boy.
What is a PBGV anyway?
For those of you who are new to Myles and Gus’s breed, PBGVs are known as the “happy breed”—and it’s easy to see why! Originally bred as French hunting hounds, these dogs are famous for their rough, tousled coats, happy wagging tails, and independent, extroverted personalities.
They are vocal, energetic, and absolutely pack-oriented, which explains why Myles and Gus clicked so fast. Life with a PBGV is always loud, fast, and full of joy, so you can only imagine the energy in our house right now with two of them!
But we wouldn’t have it any other way!

As many of you know, Myles loves the spotlight and happily agreed to pose as the main character in the beloved children’s books Focus, Myles, Focus! and Go, Myles, Go!
Well, the word on the street is that Gus is already eager to join his big brother’s character on his many upcoming adventures. Keep your eyes peeled, because this dynamic duo is bound to inspire some incredible new “tails”!
